Specification for Hygienic Safety and Functional Evaluation of Drinking Water Quality Processors - General Water Quality Processors (2001)
Specification for hygienic safety and functional evaluation of drinking water quality processor - general water quality processor, is a specification formulated by the Ministry of Health in 2001 for household and group reverse osmosis drinking water treatment devices with municipal tap water or other centralized water supply as the water source, which is used to stipulate the definition of general drinking water quality processor, the sanitary requirements for materials in contact with water, the sanitary safety and functional test and effluent water quality requirements, and the general water quality processor includes activated carbon, molecular sieve, ceramics, membrane filtration (ultrafiltration membrane) and other filters
Drinking water quality processor and water contact material hygiene requirements and health safety test
(1) Hygienic requirements for materials in contact with water
Similar to the specification for reverse osmosis treatment devices, this specification stipulates that the materials used must be inspected and identified as required, and only products that meet the requirements can be used, among which assembly materials and molded parts and filter materials in direct contact with drinking water shall be provided with health and safety certification documents or immersion tests.
(2) Health and safety test
The whole machine immersion test is limited to the sensory properties before and after the whole machine soaking (color, turbidity, odor and taste, visible to the naked eye and the specification of reverse osmosis treatment device, which stipulates that the health safety test is the essential substance), general chemical indicators (oxygen consumption), toxicological indicators (lead, mercury, chromium (valence), arsenic, phenol), microbial indicators (total number of bacteria, total coliform bacteria, fecal coliform bacteria) and other four categories of 14 indicators are limited, and the general water quality processor material requirements and the cleanliness degree of the whole machine are limited. Ensure the safety of drinking water
Strive for treatment efficiency and effluent water quality indicators
The purification efficiency stipulates that the general water quality processor such as ultrafiltration machine shall maintain the declared flow rate and achieve the declared purification treatment efficiency within the rated total water purification water.
General ultrafiltration machines and other general water quality processors require a limit of 100 CFU/mL for the total amount of fine yellow effluent, which is wider than the requirement of 20 CFU/mL for the total amount of effluent before the reverse osmosis treatment device, which shows that the requirements of the reverse osmosis device are more stringent.
